Kalajira Rice

Kalajira rice also goes by the names govinda bhog and baby basmati. This aromatic, milled, medium-grain rice from kundura block of koraput is known as the “prince of rice” for its delicate, deliciously nutty flavour. Its tiny, needle-shaped grains remain separate and fluffy when cooked into a pilaf and produce a rich, luscious rice pudding when cooked in milk.
