Aleppo Chilli Flakes

Aleppo chilli flakes are made from a mild, fat, red chilli without a huge amount of seeds that’s been crushed, giving a really delicious flavour without too much heat or pungent dried chilli aroma. The whole chillies are salted and dried, then flaked and rubbed with oil resulting in a wonderfully bright, rich colour and delicious sweet flavour.

USES: Delicious sprinkled over salads or raw food as well as in cooking; equally good with fish, meat or vegetables. Use wherever you want a little heat in your food – pretty much any application!

1 tbsp refill = approx 6 grams
4 tbsp refill = approx 27 grams (fits standard supermarket spice jar)
8 tbsp refill = approx 60 grams (fits Spicery stackable tins)

Packaging format:

All our spicestore ingredients are now sold as refills and come in compostable bags (made from wood pulp), so just decant the contents into your existing spice jars or Spicery stackable tins and dispose of the bag in your compost and food waste bin!
